Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated General Manager in Training for our retail locations. This entry-level leadership role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills while gaining comprehensive experience in retail operations. As a key member of our team, you will learn to oversee daily store functions, lead staff, and ensure exceptional customer service, all while preparing for future store management responsibilities. Duties Assist in managing daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient performance Support recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members Participate in employee orientation, training, and development initiatives Help oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising standards Contribute to sales management efforts through customer service excellence and sales strategies Assist with cash handling, POS transactions, and payroll processing Support shift management duties including scheduling, supervising staff, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities with supervising experience in retail environments Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus Proven skills in negotiation, customer service, and conflict resolution Knowledge of retail math, inventory control, pricing strategies, and merchandising techniques Experience with POS systems, purchasing procedures, and cash handling procedures Ability to manage operational tasks such as budgeting, bookkeeping, and payroll processing Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is advantageous Strong time management skills coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail sales teams is highly desirable Join us as a General Manager in Training and embark on a rewarding journey toward leading successful retail operations.
