Job Description
Are you passionate about skiing/snowboarding and outdoor adventures? Do you have experience in retail management and a knack for leading a team? Join Bluebird Mountain Sports as our Store Manager and take charge of delivering an exceptional customer experience in our store!
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
- Manage and lead a team of sales associates, rental technicians, and service associates, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock to meet customer demand.
- Ensure the store is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales goals and drive revenue.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events and sales.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, preparing reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of ski/snowboard equipment, apparel, and accessories.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
- Open availability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak seasons.
