As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the store manager in daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. Duties:

• Assist the store manager in overseeing all aspects of store operations
• Train, mentor, and supervise a team of retail associates
• Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer issues or complaints
• Manage inventory and stock levels to ensure adequate product availability
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting
• Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to drive sales growth
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies

Skills:

• Proven experience in retail management or a similar role
• Strong interviewing and hiring skills
• Excellent administrative abilities, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of stock management principles and practices
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers to ensure favorable terms
• Demonstrated success in driving retail sales and achieving targets
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
