Duties Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, provide friendly & efficient service Cleaning & organizational skills are a MUST Assist in food preparation tasks such as scooping ice cream, handling toppings, and maintaining cleanliness of serving areas Operate POS system, Square, transactions swiftly and accurately Upsell products by recommending popular flavors or add-ons to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales Manage cash handling procedures with precision, including cash register balancing and daily reconciliation Maintain food safety standards by following proper sanitation, food handling, and hygiene protocols Support team members with food service duties like bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and restocking supplies Requirements Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is highly preferred; retail or grocery store experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems and/or social media is a plus Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities Must love children, be able to relate to teens, work well in a team and love ice cream Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management Patient, flexible, organized, responsible and reliable Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy hours Assist owner and day assistant manager with overall store tasks and staff management while still cleaning and working the counter ; willingness to learn is essential This role offers a fun and rewarding environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
