Full-Time Tony Hoty Training & Consulting is conducting a search on behalf of a growing home improvement company in the Coppell, Texas area. Our client is expanding its presence inside major big-box retail stores and is looking for a Retail Marketing Manager to build, manage, and grow its in-store lead generation program. This is not a traditional retail store management position. The Retail Marketing Manager will lead a team of Brand Ambassadors responsible for engaging shoppers, identifying homeowners with potential home improvement needs, and generating qualified appointments for the sales team. We are looking for a hands-on leader who knows how to recruit people, train them, motivate them, manage performance, and generate results in the home improvement industry. What You'll Do Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard Brand Ambassadors/Lead Generators Build and manage a team across multiple big-box retail locations Create schedules and ensure locations are properly staffed Train team members to confidently approach and engage customers Coach the team on qualifying homeowners and generating appointments Conduct regular role-play and ongoing training Establish daily and weekly lead generation goals Track individual and team performance Hold team members accountable for activity, attendance, professionalism, and results Visit retail locations regularly to coach and support the team Develop contests and incentives to drive performance Build a positive, competitive, results-oriented culture Maintain strong relationships with store management Report staffing, lead production, and performance results to company leadership Help grow the retail program as additional locations are added What We're Looking For The ideal candidate has: Experience managing retail lead generation, events, canvassing, direct marketing, or face-to-face sales teams Experience recruiting and managing Brand Ambassadors or Lead Generators Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills A track record of managing people to measurable performance goals The ability to recruit and retain a productive team Strong organizational and scheduling skills A willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends The ability to travel between retail locations throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area A competitive, entrepreneurial mindset and strong sense of ownership Home improvement lead generation experience is strongly preferred. Experience with windows, roofing, siding, bath remodeling, kitchens, HVAC, solar, or other in-home services is a major plus. What Success Looks Like This position has a simple mission: Recruit the right people. Train them. Keep the stores staffed. Generate qualified appointments. Grow the retail channel. Compensation Competitive base salary plus performance-based compensation. Compensation will be based on experience. Schedule Full-time position with flexibility required. Some evenings and weekends will be necessary because these are important traffic periods for retail lead generation.
