Full-time About Summit Golf Studio Summit Golf Studio is a brand-new, premium, performance-first golf studio opening this winter in the Park City / Heber Valley area. We will serve Park City, Heber City, Midway, and surrounding communities with tour-level club fitting, putting analysis and putter fitting, club building and repair, instruction, and data-driven golf performance. This is not a big-box golf retail job or a simulator-rental counter. Our technology exists to help golfers understand what their swing and equipment are actually doing, so they can make the right equipment decisions. We fit the golfer first. The brand comes second. As a new studio, Summit offers the opportunity to help shape the customer experience, operating standards, fitting process, and reputation from the ground up. The Role We're looking for an experienced Master Club Fitter / Studio Manager to lead the fitting experience and help launch and run the day-to-day operation of Summit Golf Studio as we open this winter. You'll work one-on-one with a wide range of golfers—from competitive players and private-club members to serious recreational golfers, juniors, and newer players buying their first fitted set. You should be comfortable translating launch-monitor data into clear, trusted recommendations without turning the experience into a hard sell. This is a hands-on role. You'll own the customer journey from first consultation through fitting, ordering, delivery, follow-up, and ongoing equipment support, while helping establish a studio that is organized, welcoming, and running smoothly from day one. What You'll Do Lead high-quality driver, iron, wedge, full-bag, and putter fittings Run a thoughtful discovery process to understand each player's game, goals, current equipment, and budget Use launch-monitor and fitting data to evaluate performance and make clear equipment recommendations Manage the end-to-end fitting process: consultation, testing, recommendation, order placement, delivery, and follow-up Build clubs from components according to fitting specifications, including shaft installation, trimming, gripping, swing-weight adjustments, and final quality control Adjust, repair, and maintain clubs as needed, including grip replacement, shaft changes, loft and lie adjustments, length adjustments, and basic workshop services Maintain fitting matrices, demo inventory, club-building tools, consumables, and shop organization Help establish and oversee daily studio operations, including bay readiness, booking flow, customer check-in, cleanliness, and opening/closing procedures Help manage customer relationships, follow-up communication, reviews, and repeat business Support accessories sales in a consultative way, including grips, balls, gloves, tees, training aids, and alignment sticks Coordinate with ownership on inventory, vendor relationships, operating needs, and ways to improve the customer experience Represent Summit well within the local golf community and build genuine relationships with players, instructors, courses, and clubs What We're Looking For Proven club-fitting experience, ideally in a premium fitting environment, specialty golf retail, private club, academy, or performance studio Strong knowledge of modern club technology, shafts, heads, gapping, loft and lie, swing weight, length, and build specifications Hands-on club-building experience, including shaft installation, trimming, gripping, swing-weight management, and final build quality control Club repair and adjustment experience, including loft and lie adjustments, grip replacement, shaft changes, and basic workshop services Comfort using launch-monitor data to guide equipment decisions Ability to translate fitting recommendations into accurate club-building specifications PGA membership, PGA Associate status, OEM fitting certifications, or related credentials are a plus, but not required for the right candidate Strong communication skills and the ability to make technical information easy for customers to understand A calm, professional, approachable presence with no high-pressure sales mentality Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of a new studio environment Ability to work some evenings and weekends based on customer demand What Success Looks Like Customers leave feeling heard, informed, and confident in their equipment decisions Fittings are detailed, efficient, and tailored to the player—not driven by a predetermined brand or sale Clubs are built accurately, consistently, and to the specifications established during the fitting The studio launches smoothly and develops clear, professional operating standards from the beginning The studio runs cleanly and consistently, with bays, equipment, bookings, club builds, repairs, and customer communication handled professionally Customers return for follow-up service, additional fittings, repairs, and referrals Summit becomes known locally as the place for credible, independent, high-level club fitting and club building Compensation Competitive base compensation plus performance-based incentive structure. Final compensation will reflect experience, club-fitting background, club-building and repair ability, and management responsibility.
