As a Ski & Snowboard Shop Supervisor , you'll help lead a team while ensuring guests receive friendly, knowledgeable service and properly maintained equipment. You'll oversee daily shop operations, support staff, manage retail transactions and inventory, and work hands-on with skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily Ski & Snowboard Shop operations and staff. Assist with hiring, scheduling, training, evaluating, and disciplining employees. Provide exceptional guest service and respond positively to questions and comments. Maintain and service ski and snowboard equipment, including tuning, mounting, and binding adjustments. Test skis, snowboards, and bindings to ensure equipment is properly functioning and safe. Assist guests with checking in and out rental equipment and ensure proper fit of skis, snowboards, boots, and poles. Operate cash registers and credit card machines, process payments, and provide accurate change. Maintain accurate sales, pricing, inventory, and operating records. Reconcile cash and sales receipts and prepare daily transaction records. Enter and maintain inventory, cost, and pricing information. Monitor merchandise levels and order products or prepare requisitions as needed. Ensure employees follow established security, sales, cash-handling, and recordkeeping procedures. Implement and enforce departmental safety procedures and company policies. Provide coaching and take appropriate corrective action when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming shop environment. Perform other duties as assigned.
