The Role We are seeking a dynamic, sales-driven, and patient-focused Optical Gallery Manager to lead our Waupun location. In this role, you will be the face of our retail space. You'll be responsible for the end-to-end patient experience—from frame selection and styling to technical measurements and final fittings. Beyond the floor, you will manage the retail budget, curate our frame gallery, and implement strategies to grow our optical sales while maintaining the "family-feel" our patients love.

Hours:

Minimum of 36 hours per week .

Key Responsibilities Sales Leadership:

Drive retail growth by providing expert consultations and personalized product recommendations.

Gallery Management:

Maintain a curated, high-end retail environment; manage frame inventory and the retail budget.

Patient Experience:

Deliver "white-glove" customer service from the moment a patient walks in until they receive their finished eyewear.

Technical Expertise:

Utilize your deep knowledge of optics to recommend the best lens materials and coatings for various lifestyles.

Operations:

Manage the end-to-end ordering process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of products.

Skills & Requirements Proven Optical Expertise:

Significant working experience within the optical industry is required.

Retail Savvy:

A track record of meeting sales goals and providing exceptional service in a retail arena.

Communication Pro:

Ability to explain complex optical concepts to patients in a clear, friendly, and professional manner.

Detail Oriented:

High precision in taking measurements and managing administrative tasks.

Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 3 years in optical sales or an equivalent management role.

Technical Knowledge:

Strong working knowledge of optics, lens materials (polycarbonate, high-index, progressives), and frame adjustments/repairs.

Education:
