Sales Assistant 107 Sacramento St, Nevada City, CA 95959 About The Stone House The Stone House is a historic wedding and event venue in Nevada City, CA (est. 1857), hosting weddings and special events across our property, including Stone House Farms. We're looking for a Sales Assistant to join our team and help us deliver a great first impression to every couple and client who comes through our doors. Position Overview The Sales Assistant supports the sales pipeline from first inquiry through proposal, working closely with the General Manager and Events team. This role is a great fit for someone organized, personable, and comfortable being a couple's or client's first point of contact with The Stone House. Responsibilities Respond to inbound inquiries promptly and professionally across email, phone, and web forms Conduct discovery calls with prospective clients to understand their event vision, budget, and needs Assist in preparing initial proposals based on discovery call information Assist with leading and coordinating property tours for prospective clients Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in our CRM and sales reports for every inquiry and lead Support the sales team with follow-up communications and scheduling What We're Looking For Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable on the phone and leading in-person conversations with prospective clients Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with follow-through Experience in hospitality, events, weddings, or sales is a plus, but not required Comfortable learning and working within a CRM/booking platform Available to work some weekends, as tours and events are frequently weekend-based Compensation & Schedule Part-time, starting at $25/hour. Flexible schedule, with availability for some weekends as needed for tours and events.
