In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking eyewear solutions, providing exceptional customer service and expert assistance with eyewear fittings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people find the perfect eyewear while delivering a positive shopping experience. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop skills in optical retail and customer care within a dynamic environment. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting suitable eyewear options based on their needs and preferences Provide expert eyewear fittings, ensuring proper adjustment for comfort and optimal vision correction Offer excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining product features, and guiding customers through their purchasing decisions Maintain knowledge of current optical products, lens options, and frame styles to effectively advise customers Assist with visual merchandising and stock management to ensure the sales floor is organized and inviting Support the team in daily store operations, including processing transactions and managing returns or exchanges Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety within the store environment Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for engaging with customers effectively Ability to learn product knowledge quickly and apply it confidently during customer interactions A proactive attitude with attention to detail, especially when performing eyewear fittings and adjustments Enthusiasm for working in a team-oriented environment with a focus on delivering excellent service Join us as an Optical Sales Assistant to help customers see clearly while enjoying a rewarding career in optical retail.
