We are looking for an organized, dependable, and customer-focused individual to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday. You'll support daily office operations, assist customers, help market the business, and keep our retail store running smoothly. Position Summary The Administrative & Retail Support Associate serves as a key member of our team by providing administrative support, maintaining accurate records, assisting with marketing initiatives, and delivering exceptional customer service both in-store and over the phone. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with technology, and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment. Primary Responsibilities Administrative Support Perform accurate data entry and maintain customer, vendor, and inventory records. Organize digital and paper files. Create and update spreadsheets and reports. Assist with order processing and administrative projects. Support inventory management and purchasing documentation. Maintain organized office systems and procedures. Customer Service & Retail Greet customers with a friendly and professional attitude. Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately. Assist customers with flower and gift purchases. Operate the point-of-sale system. Help merchandise and restock the retail sales floor. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming shopping environment. Marketing Support Assist with social media posting and scheduling. Create marketing materials using Canva. Help promote workshops, holidays, and special events. Assist with email marketing and promotional campaigns. Capture photos and videos of products, floral designs, and store displays for marketing. Team Support Assist floral designers and staff during busy holiday periods. Help prepare gift items and basic floral orders when needed. Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the business. Qualifications Required Excellent organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Strong computer and data entry skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively. Friendly, professional customer service skills. Dependable with excellent attendance. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods. Preferred Experience using Canva. Experience creating or managing business social media accounts. Previous retail sales or customer service experience. Flower shop or floral industry experience.
