(Life and Accidental Death) Demonstrated proficiency in life insurance products or group benefits. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience Education & Experience Preferred Bachelor's Degree Business administration or related field Principal Duties & Responsibilities Processes new and ongoing Life and Accidental Death claims in a timely, accurate, and customer focused manner. Obtains and reviews beneficiary, employer, financial, and other relevant documentation; evaluates information against contract terms, limitations, and administrative guidelines, and renders claim decisions in accordance with established procedures. Documents claim activity thoroughly and accurately within the claims system. Develops, updates, and follows claim management plans to support appropriate outcomes. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and operational standards while meeting or exceeding team productivity and quality metrics. Demonstrates strong product knowledge and proficiency in claims administration processes. Provides empathetic, professional customer service in all interactions. Anticipates customer needs, takes appropriate action, and builds trust with beneficiaries and employers. Collaborates with internal partners to support workflow efficiency and team objectives while maintaining professionalism and integrity. Performs other related duties as required Total Rewards The salary range for this job is $50,000 to $70,000. This range is specific to the job and salary offers consider a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and peer compensation. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. At Aflac, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role to allow for future and continued salary growth, and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate.
