The Role We are looking for an energetic and organized sales assistant to work directly alongside Brad, our Senior Sales Lead with over 25 years at DockSolutions. You will be the backbone of our sales pipeline — handling inbound inquiries, building customer relationships, coordinating consultations, and managing the details that keep every project on track. No prior sales experience required. We will teach you everything about our products. What we cannot teach is the drive to show up, build relationships, and do right by the customer. Core Responsibilities Respond promptly to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and our website — providing accurate and helpful information about our products and services. Qualify leads by gathering critical project details including waterfront specifications, budget, and timeline. Schedule site assessments and coordinate consultations between clients and our senior sales team. Follow up with pending customers to answer questions, address concerns, and help move open opportunities forward. Coordinate with our production and installation teams to track project timelines, delivery schedules, and completion milestones. Represent DockSolutions with the same professionalism and care that has kept our customers coming back for over 25 years. What We Are Looking For Personable and genuine. We will train you on our specific tools. Marine curious. Familiarity with boats, docks, or the waterfront lifestyle is a bonus, not a requirement. Requirements 1 to 2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role preferred — not required. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a professional phone manner. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple client schedules simultaneously. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in helping customers succeed. No prior sales experience required — we will train the right person.
