Job Description

Technical Sales Engineer Precision Drive Systems (PDS) is a leading provider of precision spindle design, repair, rebuild, remanufacturing, and electromechanical motion solutions serving the aerospace, automotive, woodworking, metalworking, composites, and industrial manufacturing and machine robotics markets. PDS is seeking a motivated Technical Sales Engineer to help manufacturers improve productivity, reduce downtime, and maximize equipment performance through industry-leading spindle repair, replacement, monitoring, and automation solutions. What You'll Do
  • Develop and grow customer relationships across CNC, robotics, and automation markets.
  • Generate new business opportunities and manage the sales process from prospecting through closing.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor helping customers solve complex manufacturing challenges.
  • Recommend spindle repair, rebuild, replacement, monitoring, and engineered solutions.
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and ROI-focused proposals.
  • Collaborate with marketing, engineering, and operations teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes. What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of technical B2B sales experience.
  • Background in CNC machinery, industrial automation, robotics, machine tools, motors, or manufacturing equipment.
  • Strong communication, consultative selling, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand customer challenges and develop value-driven technical solutions.
  • Engineering or technical manufacturing experience preferred. Why PDS?

Pay:
$90,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
