Junior Technical Sales Engineer $80,000-$110,000 ($125,000-$145,000 first-year OTE) + 401(k) + ESOP + full benefits + mileage reimbursement + PTO + technical training & progression Sleepy Hollow, NY (Open to candidates across NYC & Westchester County) Are you a Junior Engineer or Sales Engineer with a mechanical or HVAC background looking to combine your technical knowledge with client-facing sales, while building a long-term career in the clean-energy sector? With 70 projects already lined up, you'll be joining at the beginning of an exciting growth phase, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine impact and help shape the future of the business. You'll work across heat pump and HVAC projects, supporting equipment selection, sizing and specification while preparing technical submittals and proposal materials. You'll also join client meetings and project walkthroughs, respond to technical queries from engineers and contractors, and develop specialist knowledge of leading manufacturer product lines. You'll receive hands-on training and direct exposure to senior leadership, giving you the technical and commercial foundations to progress into more senior engineering and sales positions. This role would suit a Junior Mechanical Engineer, HVAC Engineer or Salesperson looking to break into clean energy, develop commercially and build a career with significant earning and progression potential. The Role Assist with equipment selection, sizing and specification for heat pump and HVAC projects Prepare technical submittals, data sheets, proposals and supporting documentation while developing knowledge of leading manufacturer product lines Support senior engineers and sales staff during client meetings, site visits and project walkthroughs, gaining valuable commercial exposure Receive on-the-job technical training, senior mentorship and manufacturer training, with a genuine opportunity to progress into more senior technical, project or sales roles as the company grows The Candidate Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience 0-2 years' experience within HVAC, mechanical systems, engineering or another related technical environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and desire to develop in a client-facing technical sales environment Willingness to travel locally for site visits and client meetings
