Sister companies are Givens Lifting Systems of Perrysburg, Ohio, Givens Engineering Inc, of London, Ontario, and Givens Hebesysteme of Netphen, Germany. As a group, we have just passed 100 employees. We are best known for as one of North America's leaders in custom lifting equipment, but Givens Automation specializes in electrically-controlled machinery for factories. Givens Automation and Machine manufactures a wide range of equipment for industries including auto and auto parts manufacturing, aerospace, metal fabrication and defense. We're looking for an Industrial Sales Representative , who is motivated & enthusiastic with a strong mechanical aptitude. You do not have to be an engineer for this position, but your resume should include any of the following: 1) Technical sales experience 2) Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude 3) Mechanical or electrical engineering diploma, degree, or certificate 4) Industrial, mechanical or electrical experience 5) Strong time management skills a must You would represent our company in a set sales territory in the US working out of the Perrysburg office. Periodical travel would be required within your sales territory. The work would include visiting factories, taking measurements, proposing mechanical and controls concepts, making sketches, reading customer specifications and preparing quotations. The ability to cold-call and make introductions would be essential. Base Salary + Commission with potential to earn $65,000
- $120,000 and more annually + Health Insurance + 401(k).
