This position serves as a technical expert throughout the sales cycle, helping prospects and customers evaluate options, resolve technical concerns, and select solutions that meet their business and network requirements. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years in a customer-facing technical sales role (Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Systems Engineer) in telecom, ISP, or carrier markets Proficient and confident presenting directly to customers at all levels - from network engineers to C-level executives Strong working knowledge of: DWDM transport and wavelength services Dark Fiber architecture and route design DIA delivery, BGP routing, and SLA structures

FTTP/FTTH

models VoIP solutions, SIP trunking, and QoS FTTC deployments MEF related service delivery options Proven ability to support and help close complex technical sales opportunities Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Must be willing and comfortable traveling to customer sites and industry events

Preferred Qualifications Certifications:

CCNA/CCNP, JNCIA/JNCIP, or optical/telecom-specific credentials Experience with Ciena, Infinera, Cisco, Nokia, Calix, or ADTRAN platforms Experience selling into enterprise, carrier, or wholesale accounts Familiarity with VITA and E-Rate is beneficial Experience with BroadSoft voice services and configurations Key Competencies Sales-driven technical partner - comfortable being measured on deal outcomes as well as technical accuracy Consultative, relationship-driven approach with customers Quick thinking under pressure in live customer settings Strong technical credibility paired with genuine sales instinct Collaborative with internal engineering teams, but customer-first in orientation Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and customer stakeholders at all organizational levels.
