Duties Safely operate commercial trucks in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies, ensuring secure transportation of goods across assigned routes. Deliver products efficiently to retail stores and other clients, ensuring accurate pricing and proper merchandising on each visit. Build strong customer relationships through friendly communication, understanding client needs, and providing excellent service that encourages repeat business. Upsell additional products or services during deliveries to maximize sales opportunities while meeting customer demands. Conduct heavy lifting and safe lifting practices when handling inventory, ensuring proper organization and placement within retail locations. Maintain detailed route logs, delivery documentation, and sales records accurately for organizational tracking and reporting purposes. Follow all safety protocols during automobile transportation, route driving, and merchandise handling to ensure personal safety and compliance with regulations. Qualifications Proven experience in retail store environments or sales roles with strong customer relationship building skills. Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in commercial truck driving preferred. Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting practices, and heavy lifting techniques necessary for handling inventory safely. Basic math skills for pricing calculations, inventory counts, and sales transactions. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, route coordination, and team collaboration. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing. Organizational skills to manage route schedules efficiently and maintain accurate records.
