Fillmore, CA Job Details Contract $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Spanish Customer communication English Business development Driver's License Driving Full Job Description Bilingual Contract Sales Representative — Nursery Fillmore Valley Nursery | Fillmore, CA Independent Contractor | $20/hour | Flexible Schedule Fillmore Valley Nursery is a growing wholesale and retail nursery serving Ventura County, Los Angeles County, and surrounding areas. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, bilingual independent sales contractor to help grow our business. The ideal person enjoys meeting people, developing relationships, negotiating deals, and turning leads into long-term customers. What You'll Do

• Develop relationships with landscapers, contractors, builders, property managers, and other customers
• Follow up on leads provided by the nursery and independently develop new sales opportunities
• Prospect through calls, referrals, networking, and in-person visits
• Visit customers, contractor offices, and job sites
• Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing and terms within agreed-upon parameters, and close sales
• Build repeat business and identify additional sales opportunities with existing customers
• Keep track of leads, quotes, and customer follow-ups
• Be flexible to assist with other nursery projects as mutually agreed, including delivering customer orders or plant shipments What We're Looking For
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
• Comfortable prospecting, handling objections, and asking for the sale
• Must be able to drive , with a valid driver's license and good driving record
• Available to provide contract services ideally 3+ days per week
• Nursery, landscaping, construction, or outside-sales experience is preferred but not required
• Existing relationships with landscapers or contractors are highly preferred Compensation & Opportunity $20/hour as an independent contractor , with flexible scheduling.

For someone who demonstrates the ability to generate and close new business, there is potential to add sales commissions and performance-based compensation. This is an independent contractor engagement, not an employment position. Either party may end the engagement at any time, with or without cause, subject to the independent contractor agreement.
