Job Description

Job Overview As a Truck Repair Salesperson, you'll connect customers with the repair and maintenance services their trucks need. You'll listen carefully, assess concerns, coordinate with technicians, and explain estimates and service options in clear, practical terms. This customer-facing role combines sales, service writing, and automotive repair knowledge to keep customers informed and help work move smoothly from estimate to completion. Duties Welcome customers, discuss vehicle concerns, and maintain clear, timely client communication throughout the service process. Prepare and explain repair estimates using estimating software, including computer-aided vehicle damage estimating when applicable. Coordinate with service technicians to support accurate automotive diagnostics and recommend appropriate repairs or maintenance. Present service options and use thoughtful upselling to address relevant needs, including transmissions, oil changes, alignment, suspension, shocks and struts, tire service, and brake repair. Process service documentation and payments, handle cash accurately, and support a positive customer service experience.
Your impact:
By translating technician findings into clear estimates and service choices, you help customers make informed decisions and get their trucks back to dependable operation. Experience Customer service, sales, service writing, or auto estimating experience is valuable; dealership, collision repair, automotive service, or auto service management experience is a plus. Mechanical knowledge is important. Mechanic or service technician experience, automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive repair knowledge are preferred. Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating is helpful. A valid ability to drive vehicles as part of job duties is required.
Pay:
$53,200.00 - $64,200.00 per year
