Position Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) with a strong service mentality to support our sales team through lead generation, prospecting, and serving as a liaison between qualified prospects and our Sales Managers to coordinate next steps. This role will provide hands-on experience in developing sales strategies, identifying and qualifying potential customers, and supporting Sales Managers with prospective opportunities, while also assisting with key administrative responsibilities throughout the new customer and account approval process. This is a 100% on-site role based out of our corporate office in Peachtree Corners, GA Key Responsibilities 1. Lead Research and Identification Research prospects: Utilize Salesforce, LinkedIn, industry-specific databases, and other resources to research and identify new prospects.
Qualify leads:
Qualify leads based on industry, company size, target market, and overall business fit. 2. Collaboration and Support Align with
Sales Managers:
Work closely with Sales Managers to understand the ideal customer profile, target markets, and prospecting priorities.
Deliver qualified leads:
Provide qualified and actionable leads to Sales Managers and communicate relevant prospect information. 3.
Administrative Support Support account approvals:
Assist Sales Managers with the account approval process by collecting and following up on credit references and service agreements.
Review credit references:
Review credit references to determine whether they meet company requirements.
Submit approval documentation:
Submit completed credit references and New Customer Forms to the Credit Department for review and account approval. 4.
Outbound Outreach Execute outreach:
Execute outbound prospecting through phone calls, email campaigns, social media, and other outreach methods. Liaise with
Sales Managers:
Serve as a liaison between qualified prospects and Sales Managers to facilitate communication and coordinate next steps.
Schedule meetings:
Schedule meetings, introductory calls, and demonstrations with qualified prospects and the appropriate Sales Manager. 5. Lead Database Management Maintain Salesforce records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect information, outreach activities, follow-ups, and lead statuses in Salesforce.
Manage the pipeline:
Manage assigned leads through the prospecting process and ensure next steps are properly documented. 6. Data Tracking and Reporting Track performance: Track lead generation activity and results to monitor performance against established KPIs.
Support reporting:
Assist with reporting on overall lead generation performance, trends, challenges, and successes.
Requirements & Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, or related field preferred).
Sales interest:
Strong interest in sales and lead generation processes.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Collaboration:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CRM familiarity:
Basic understanding of CRM tools (Salesforce) is a plus.
Social media savvy:
Familiarity with social media platforms and professional networking sites (LinkedIn, etc.) is desirable.
Organization:
Detail-oriented with a strong organizational mindset.
Technical proficiency:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
Preferred Skills Prior experience:
Experience in lead generation or sales internships.
Digital tools knowledge:
Knowledge of digital marketing or sales automation tools.
Initiative:

CRM exposure:
Exposure to customer relationship management (Salesforce) tools and strategies.
Sales cycle knowledge:
