Overview The Customer Success Representative (CSR) is primarily responsible for delivering excellent customer support while also supporting Sales efforts to grow and retain customers. This role provides customer service through all forms of communication (phone, email, online systems, fax, EDI, Live Chat, Dealer computer portals, mail, walk-ins, verbal, and written). The CSR supports order entry, order management, account maintenance, quoting, Dealer programs, outbound follow-up, and sales lead management while ensuring service levels and response coverage are maintained during business hours. The CSR also supports shipping/logistics coordination, credit card processing, return goods processes, and technical service support for finished goods and parts. This position is an in-office position and not subject to remote work because management believes that having this position and others in this Business Unit situated in a common workspace at FireKing promotes effective and efficient communication, teamwork, productivity, problem solving and management. Responsibilities Customer Service Support
- Answer inbound calls/emails, enter and process finished goods orders, provide order confirmations, shipping status updates, shipping rate quotes, re-consignments/redelivery support, small parts/key orders, credit card processing, and combination requests. Sales & Customer Growth Support
- Provide product recommendations, lead time guidance, Dealer program information, and assist customers in selecting appropriate solutions. Generate and send pricing/quotes, promote relevant add-ons, and support new and existing customer opportunities. Sales Lead Management (Outbound & Follow-up)
- Respond to inbound leads quickly, perform outbound follow-up calls/emails on quotes, abandoned opportunities, inactive customers, and literature requests. Qualify leads and document next steps. Route high-value opportunities to the appropriate Sales Representative as needed. Customer Account Maintenance & CRM/Portal Updates
- Maintain customer records, update Dealer portals, assist with onboarding new Dealer accounts, and ensure account accuracy for quoting and ordering. Live Chat Support
- Respond to live website chat requests, answer product/order questions, assist with troubleshooting, and convert inquiries into quotes/orders when applicable. Return Goods & Resolution Support
- Assist with return goods processing, documentation, coordination, and customer communication, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction. Technical Product Support & Service Dispatch
- Provide support for warranty/non-warranty service requests, coordinate service dispatching, assist with basic troubleshooting, and route escalations appropriately.
Qualifications Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with an emphasis on active listening and problem-solving. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis purposes. Ability to collaborate across departments effectively in a cross-functional environment.
