Automotive BDC Agent - Business Development Center Tim Short CDJR of Maysville 1502 Industrial Park Drive Maysville, KY Job Description Tim Short CDJR of Maysville is seeking a motivated, energetic, and customer-focused BDC Agent to join our team. The BDC Agent is often the customer's first point of contact with our dealership. This position is responsible for responding to internet leads, communicating with prospective customers, scheduling appointments, and consistently following up by phone, text, and email. We are looking for someone who communicates confidently, stays organized, and understands that every conversation is an opportunity to help a customer and earn their business. Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to internet and telephone inquiries Make outbound calls and follow up with prospective customers Communicate with customers through phone calls, text messages, and email Schedule qualified appointments for the sales department Confirm appointments and follow up with customers who do not arrive Maintain accurate customer notes and follow-up tasks in the dealership CRM Provide customers with helpful vehicle and dealership information Work closely with sales managers and sales representatives Build rapport with customers and create a positive first impression Meet established activity, appointment, and performance goals Maintain consistent follow-up with every assigned opportunity Participate in training and team meetings Qualifications Confident and professional communication skills Friendly, energetic, and customer-focused personality Strong telephone, texting, and email skills Dependable, organized, and capable of managing multiple customers Comfortable working with computers and learning dealership software Self-motivated and driven by goals and results Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and improve Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dealership environment Previous customer service, call-center, sales, or automotive experience is helpful but not required What We Value The right attitude, work ethic, reliability, and desire to succeed matter most.
