This is not a desk-only role. This is a get-out-and-build-business position focused on meeting people, making calls, attending events, following up with prospects, and developing relationships with real estate investors, builders, contractors, developers, house flippers, and referral partners. This can be a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn while they earn and build a career in real estate finance. About Us Grand Coast Capital Group provides private lending for real estate investors, including fix & flip loans, bridge loans, construction-related financing, and other investor-focused lending needs. You will work with senior members of our lending team and receive training, mentorship, and support from experienced professionals with decades of mortgage lending, construction, real estate development, and private lending experience. What You'll Do Responsibilities may include:
  • Attend real estate investor, industry, and local networking events
  • Attend real estate auctions
  • Call company-provided prospect lists
  • Cold call investors, builders, contractors, developers, and potential borrowers
  • Research local construction projects and identify potential lending opportunities
  • Review public records, permits, contractor information, and other lead sources
  • Build relationships with investors, builders, contractors, attorneys, real estate agents, and referral partners
  • Shadow experienced team members on calls and meetings
  • Learn how private lending opportunities are evaluated
  • Track contacts, notes, activity, and follow-up in the CRM
  • Attend required in-office meetings, typically Tuesday and Thursday mornings in Cohasset
  • Review sales activity and receive ongoing training from the team This role requires persistence.
Many prospects will take several calls, meetings, or follow-ups before doing business with us. Compensation This position is structured as a draw against commission for private lending production.
Benefits and Support We offer:
  • Health insurance
  • 401(k)
  • CRM and marketing support
  • Training and mentorship
  • Licensing and test preparation support
  • Opportunity to learn private lending and residential mortgage finance Who We're Looking For The right person is:
  • Outgoing and comfortable meeting new people
  • Willing to cold call and prospect
  • Persistent with follow-up
  • Resilient when prospects say no or do not respond right away
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using basic technology and CRM systems
  • Professional when representing the company
  • Comfortable speaking with builders, contractors, investors, and owner-operators
  • Comfortable at both networking events and construction sites
  • Curious about real estate, construction, lending, business, and sales
  • Self-motivated, but still team-oriented and coachable You do not need to be overly corporate or polished.
This is not a suit-and-tie atmosphere. Many of our clients are hands-on investors, builders, contractors, and owner-operators. You need to communicate well, follow through, present yourself professionally, and represent the company in a positive way. Preferred Experience Sales or business development experience is preferred, but we are open to the right person with the right attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn. Experience in any of the following areas is helpful, but not required:

This role is a good fit for someone who is collaborative, curious, coachable, hardworking, professional, reliable, and motivated to build business over time. This is probably not the right fit for someone who wants a strictly desk-based job, a traditional 9-to-5 routine, no outbound calls, no networking, no CRM tracking, or a fully independent role with little team interaction. Work Location This role is based out of our Cohasset, MA office, with business development activity throughout the South Shore, Greater Boston, Eastern Massachusetts, and occasional travel throughout New England. The role includes required in-office meetings, typically Tuesday and Thursday mornings, for training, activity review, team coordination, and learning how the lending process works.
