A minimum of five years of experience in automotive trades or the marine trades is required. A strong mechanical aptitude is essential for this position. Duties Provide excellent customer service to both wholesale and retail accounts. Assist wholesale and retail customers in person, by phone, and by email. Accurately identify parts and prepare quotes and orders, verifying part numbers, specifications, and dimensions. Solve problems and resolve errors, and follow through to prevent repeat issues. Continually build product knowledge across trailers, components, and parts. Assist with marketing and e-commerce projects. Requirements and Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of experience in automotive parts sales or the marine trades (boat, trailer, or marine parts sales, service, or repair). Exceptional attention to detail. Accuracy in part numbers, specifications, orders, and paperwork is critical to this role. Strong work ethic. You must be dependable and self-motivated, and take ownership of your work. Focus on the job. Personal cell phone use is limited to breaks. If you can't stay off your phone during work hours, this position is not for you. Willingness to keep learning new products, systems, and skills. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to meet commitments on time. Some heavy lifting may be needed when checking products for features, dimensions, etc. Must have and keep a valid driver's license and arrive at work on time. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Salary Based on experience, skills, and education.
