Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hands-on New Car Lot Supervisor to oversee the daily operation, appearance, organization, and readiness of our dealership's new vehicle inventory. The New Car Lot Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all new vehicles are properly received, inspected, photographed, accounted for, parked, displayed, and ready for customers and the sales team. This position also coordinates lot personnel and helps maintain a clean, professional, and customer-ready dealership. The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping an organized operation, pays close attention to vehicle condition and inventory, and is comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced automotive dealership environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee the organization and daily operation of the new car lot. Maintain an orderly inventory layout so vehicles can be located quickly by the sales team. Receive new vehicle deliveries and verify vehicles against delivery and inventory documentation. Inspect incoming vehicles for visible damage, missing equipment, incorrect vehicles, or other issues and promptly report discrepancies to management. Ensure each new vehicle is properly stocked into dealership inventory according to established procedures. Photograph every new vehicle stocked into inventory using the dealership's current photography equipment, software, mobile applications, and other tools provided. Ensure vehicle photographs are clear, complete, professional, and taken according to dealership standards so inventory can be accurately represented online and in dealership marketing. Complete vehicle photography promptly after the unit is stocked in and ensure required photographs are uploaded or processed using the dealership's designated systems. Identify and report problems with photography equipment, software, applications, connectivity, or other provided tools to management. Ensure vehicles are properly labeled, fueled, charged when applicable, and positioned according to dealership procedures. Coordinate vehicle movement for customer demonstrations, deliveries, service, detailing, photography, and showroom placement. Ensure vehicles designated for customer delivery are clean, fueled, charged when applicable, and ready on time. Regularly inspect the lot to ensure vehicles are clean, properly parked, secured, and professionally displayed. Monitor vehicle keys and follow dealership key-control procedures. Assist with locating vehicles and maintaining accurate physical inventory. Coordinate with sales managers, sales consultants, service, detail, and other departments regarding vehicle readiness. Supervise and provide daily direction to porters, lot attendants, and/or inventory personnel as assigned. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the new vehicle lot, sidewalks, display areas, and other assigned dealership areas. Help prepare the dealership lot before opening and ensure vehicles and display areas remain presentable throughout the day. Follow dealership procedures for handling vehicle damage and immediately notify management of any incidents. Safely operate dealership and customer vehicles. Assist with dealer trades and vehicle transportation when assigned. Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by dealership management.
Pay:
$35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
