Office Shift - 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday-Friday) Overview We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team. Minden Machine Shop d.b.a. Patriot Equipment designs and manufactures agricultural equipment for producers across the country, and this role is responsible for helping customers identify the right equipment for their operation, building lasting customer relationships, and supporting the sales process from initial inquiry through order completion and beyond. The ideal candidate has firsthand knowledge of agriculture and agricultural equipment, enjoys working with customers, and is skilled in problem-solving and communication. A willingness to learn our specific products and processes is required. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person Build relationships with new and existing customers, dealers, and distribution partners Provide product recommendations and explain features, specifications, and benefits Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up with customers throughout the sales process Maintain accurate customer and sales records using company software Coordinate with production and office staff to communicate order status and customer expectations. Follow up on leads generated through phone calls, emails, website inquiries, referrals, trade shows, and other marketing efforts Identify opportunities to grow existing customer and dealer relationships and develop new business Stay informed on company products, industry trends, and customer applications Assist customers with product questions and troubleshooting Qualifications Previous experience and knowledge of agriculture and agricultural equipment through farming, equipment sales, dealership experience, agricultural manufacturing, or a related field is required Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand, learn, and explain technical equipment Previous sales, customer service, or account management experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Computer proficiency and the ability to learn and use new software Self-motivation with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why work for Patriot Equipment?
