Position Summary Maxell Corporation of America is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to provide day-to-day customer and operational support to the sales team and intercompany logistics partners in Japan. This deadline-driven role coordinates orders and shipping schedules, maintains strong customer relationships, prepares business reports, manages invoices and accounts receivable, and helps ensure customer requirements are met on time. Key Responsibilities
Provide sales support for global and domestic accounts totaling more than $30 million annually.
Coordinate and expedite shipping logistics for just-in-time accounts to support customer delivery requirements and on-time delivery.
Collaborate daily with expatriate team members, customers, the sales team, and intercompany partners in Japan to coordinate shipping schedules.
Prepare and provide reports for customers, the sales team, and internal management, including purchase order status and inventory information.
Manage invoices and accounts receivable for assigned accounts, including follow-up to support timely payment.
Organize and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales and operations environment. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, including 3 or more years of OEM industry knowledge.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Strong customer support, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong quantitative aptitude, computer literacy, problem-solving ability, and collaborative working style. Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary: $65,000 to $80,000 annually, depending on experience
