Duties Stock shelves efficiently by organizing produce, packaged goods, and other store products, ensuring accurate placement and presentation. Use material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand truck to load, unload merchandise across the store. Maintain inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, monitoring product expiration dates, and reporting discrepancies. Assist customers with product inquiries, provide excellent customer service, and support retail sales initiatives. Ensure the cleanliness of the store by performing routine maintenance tasks including cleaning shelves, floors, and work areas. Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays to attract customer attention and maximize sales opportunities. Experience Previous retail store experience or warehouse operations experience is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices. Basic math skills for counting stock quantities and processing transactions accurately.
