Position Overview We're hiring a Vintage Market Associate to join our expansion team. This is not just a job — it's an opportunity to help build and shape a brand-new concept from its earliest stages.

The ideal candidate is:

Passionate about vintage, retro décor, and history Extremely detail oriented and highly organized Naturally creative with an eye for storytelling displays Experienced in inventory management Excited to be part of a pre-opening team and help build systems from scratch This role will start as part-time (primarily weekends) during the preparation phase, with the potential to become full-time as the market opens and expands. Key Responsibilities (Pre-Opening & Beyond)Pre-Opening Duties Assist with initial inventory intake, tagging, and organization Help curate, categorize, and stage merchandise for market launch Support layout planning, display design, and aesthetic setup Photograph or document items as needed for internal use Ongoing Market Responsibilities Inventory Management Maintain accurate inventory logs Monitor product condition and ensure proper care Assist with sourcing unique items and collections Merchandising & Display Create themed displays and nostalgic vignettes Refresh sections regularly and support seasonal resets Customer Experience Greet guests and share product stories Handle checkout and customer questions Maintain a warm, inviting Sweet Memories brand atmosphere What We're Looking For Experience in inventory management , retail, or related areas Strong organizational and communication skills Creativity, initiative, and the ability to work independently A genuine love for all things vintage Reliability — especially weekends Ability to lift/move products as needed
