Visit our website at www.hthackney.com Position Summary Reporting directly to the distribution facility's First Shift Supervisor, H.T. Hackney's First Shift Stockers are a vital part of our distribution process through the stocking and replenishment of select product for the Night Shift Team to select and ship to retail customers. The main emphasis and priority for our First Shift Stocker is the ability to work with other members of our First Shift Team to stock all products (within your designated zone) in an accurate and timely manner throughout the shift. A strong, positive culture is critical to our operations and is a key piece to what we look for on our First Shift Team as well. Ample opportunities for a career are available through these positions as you train and grow your knowledge in our operations (ask your Operations Manager and General Manager for examples - as every Distribution Center has many examples of employees who have grown their career by starting on our First Shift Stocking Teams).
Duties include:
- Stocking your zone's product in a timely and accurate manner
- Helping with the preparation of your zone (stocking location) through a cleanly workspace, accurate inventory within your slots, etc.)
- Maintaining your RF Equipment that is assigned to you
- Correctly using and adjusting your daily replenishment report that designates what slots and items need to be restocked with your Shift Supervisor
- Communicating with your Shift Supervisor for any needs or changes that will help performance
- Demonstrating the ability to work well with Team Members on your shift
- Collaborate with "Night Shift" selectors for any needs within your stocking zone (needs for an item's slot, inventory that needs to be stocked, or other needs)
- Making sure that your zone (stocking area) is organized and clean at the
- end• of your shift for the following day • Makes sure all safety practices are adhered to.

- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and communicate needs and processes
- Ability to manage one's time and priorities throughout the shift
- A positive and healthy attitude and outlook on your position and responsibilities
- Abilities to work with RF selecting devices and equipment
- Ability to operate heavy distribution equipment (Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Electric Pallet Jacks, etc.)
- available as time and training permits
- Be a self-starter and take initiative, such as looking for ways to grow within your team personally and professionally
Experience and Education:
- High School Degree
- Preferred, but not required
- Reach Truck or Forklift experience
- preferred, but not required
- Licensed Forklift Operator
- Preferred, but not required
- Past experience within warehousing positions or distribution
- preferred, but not required
