Ethanol Extraction Associate Job type :

Full-Time, M-F:

8 am - 5 pm

Salary:

$20/hour Position Summary The Ethanol Extraction Associate supports cannabis extraction and refinement operations ethanol-based methods. This role requires strict adherence to state regulations, safety protocols, and company SOPs, along with strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy in a regulated laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities Assist with extraction and distillation operations using approved BHO and ethanol processes in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements Support post-processing, refinement, and preparation of extracts for downstream manufacturing or packaging Learn and assist with solventless extraction techniques (e.g., wet lab operations) under supervision and training protocols Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant lab environment, including equipment, tools, and workspaces Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, solvent handling protocols, and emergency procedures Accurately complete batch records, logs, and compliance documentation as required by state regulations Monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues or deviations, escalating concerns to leadership as needed Assist with inventory management of solvents, materials, and lab supplies, including communicating ordering needs with supervisors Participate in ongoing training related to extraction methods, safety, and regulatory compliance Provide support for trimming, post-production, and cultivation operations prior to plant launch Qualifications & Skills 21+ years of age; compliance with background check and age requirements as mandated by state law High school diploma or equivalent required; technical, scientific, or manufacturing background preferred Prior experience in extraction, chemical processing, lab environments, or regulated manufacturing is a plus Ability to follow detailed SOPs, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements with precision Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance and safety Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with specialized equipment Clear communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as required Work Environment & Requirements Laboratory and manufacturing environment involving solvents and cannabinoid materials Mandatory compliance with state regulations Use of PPE and adherence to all lab safety standards Exposure to strong odors and industrial equipment
