This position is centered around public records research, court record analysis, commercial database research, and investigative reporting. You'll work on behalf of attorneys, insurance carriers, corporations, and private clients to identify facts, verify information, and develop evidence-supported conclusions. Success in this position depends on your ability to navigate complex public records, understand how court systems operate, and recognize connections between people, businesses, litigation, and assets. Responsibilities Public Records Research Conduct comprehensive public record investigations Research civil, criminal, probate, bankruptcy, and family court records Review federal, state, and county court filings Research deeds, mortgages, tax records, liens, and property ownership Locate corporate filings and business affiliations Intelligence & Analysis Utilize commercial investigative databases Conduct advanced OSINT research Identify relationships between individuals, businesses, and assets Verify employment, licensing, education, and professional affiliations Reporting Analyze findings for relevance and accuracy Prepare detailed investigative reports Summarize complex legal records into concise narratives Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent investigative experience Excellent written communication skills Strong analytical thinking skills Exceptional attention to detail Ability to interpret complex information Strong organization and time management skills High ethical standards Preferred Court research experience Knowledge of state and federal court systems Public records research Property records research experience Commercial database experience OSINT experience Insurance investigations experience Report writing experience Our strongest investigators are analytical thinkers who enjoy research, problem-solving, and uncovering facts.
