The Immunomodulation & Cell Reprogramming cluster within Sanofi Oncology is seeking a highly motivated co-op student. The successful candidate will work in a Cambridge MA state of the art facility within a multi-disciplinary team. The candidate will learn and utilize cutting-edge technologies to impact existing portfolio. The candidate will use molecular, cellular, and biochemical techniques to interrogate novel cancer therapeutics in human cancer models with an aim to bring the best new therapies to the correct patients. Main Responsibilities:
Perform, analyze, and present the results of experiments. Develop and execute cell-based assays to evaluate functional changes in human cancer models. Evaluate signaling cascades to understand the biology of novel candidate therapeutic molecules. Organize and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Previous lab experience is preferred.
About You Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or a related field, having completed freshman year, preferably with junior or senior standing. Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or
STEM OPT
usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university throughout the duration of the co-op/internship Must be able torelocateto the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship. Students must have completed their freshman year, preferably in junior or senior standing
