Join our seasonal team as a CWD Technician , where you'll play a key role in monitoring Chronic Wasting Disease in harvested game animals of Montana.
What You'll Do:
Collect biological samples from hunter-harvested animals at designated CWD sampling locations. Follow established protocols to accurately and efficiently collect samples and sample data in the presence of hunters. Ensure all data is properly recorded and handled according to program standards. Provide respectful, informative and educational interactions with the public, representing the agency with professionalism.
Schedule & Duration:
Seasonal position running October 13th through December 4th. Schedule will vary Sunday through Saturday , with two consecutive days off each week.

Comfortable handling biological material and working outdoors in varying conditions. Detail-oriented with the ability to follow strict protocols. Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with hunters and the public. Prior experience in wildlife, biology, or fieldwork a plus, but not required training provided.
Pay:
Hourly pay $21.11 Weekly pay schedule, every Friday!
