Collab Fertility at Walnut Creek, California has an immediate opening for an IVF laboratory assistant. The applicant will have an opportunity to learn all aspects of IVF laboratory procedures, and be trained for andrology and embryology in the future. It's a great opportunity for fresh graduates with a life science degree . The candidate must have bachelor degree of life science and related field. The successful candidate should be a team player, ability to multitask and detail oriented. Weekend rotataion is required. The main responsibilities of this position are: 1) Supporting the embryologists' laboratory workflow including daily QC and lab maintenance. 2) Maintain laboratory records, gather information from various data systems, and compile as needed for daily activities. 3) Assist with the frozen reproductive specimen transfer logistic coordination. 4) Organizing and ordering all laboratory supplies, keep in touch with vendors. 5) Communicate and resolve problems associated with specimen collection, labeling, lab requisitions 6) Establish and maintain open lines of communication both internal and external, as needed to effectively promote patient care.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in life science related field
• Strong understanding of molecular biology concepts
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Previous lab work experience is a plus, but not required This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic laboratory setting.
