Job Description Job Summary Insight Global is seeking a Gas Turbine Technician to join their team in Greer, SC. This role is responsible for performing hands-on assembly, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) activities on complex industrial equipment within a highly regulated, safety-driven environment. The technician will use a variety of tools, fixtures, gauges, and plant equipment while following overhaul manuals, OEM documentation, and established company procedures. Beyond technical capability, the ideal candidate possesses a strong growth mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a natural curiosity to understand not only how processes are performed, but why they are performed that way. The successful candidate will support multiple projects simultaneously, maintain accurate documentation, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and quality standards. Candidates who demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, coachability, and a history of learning new skills quickly will be especially successful in this environment.

Paid Hourly:

•  3-5+ years of hands-on assembly and MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul) experience on industrial, aerospace, aviation, power generation, or similar mechanical equipment OR technical certification through a technical college or institution
•  Experience using hand tools, machines, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and plant equipment
•  Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical documentation, overhaul manuals, OEM manuals, and work instructions
•  Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain quality and safety standards
•  Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, or similar systems)
•  Demonstrated problem-solving ability, coachability, and desire to learn and grow professionally Plusses (Skillsets)
•  A&P License
•  Experience within a FAR 145 Repair Station or MRO environment
•  Experience working under ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems
•  Experience with BOMs, source control documentation, and technical drawings
•  Manufacturing experience in industrial or aerospace environments
•  Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection (FPI) processing experience
•  Previous gas turbine, aviation, aerospace, or rotating equipment experience
