You can find more information at: www.mo-sci.com Job Duties & Responsibilities Initiate and coordinate analytical related data from production, service , or process activities and report the data using statistical techniques when appropriate Establish documentation and processes for new equipment Support the Analytical lab, Engineering staff and Manufacturing activities Performing analytical testing including analytical equipment calibration Develop and implement processes for new equipment including method development and Gage R&R Specialized manufacturing activities Prepare technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analysis Assessing analytical testing capabilities and find opportunities for improvement Perform property measurements requested by external and internal customers Coordinate analysis required to e conducted by outside laboratories
Qualifications:
Preferred:
Masters degree in Chemistry or related analytical field
Required:
BS in Chemistry or related analytical field Regardless of education or work experience, the position incumbent must be willing to pursue additional training or upgrade their education and/or sharpen skill deficiencies Required 2-3 years devoted to chemical or materials analysis Preferred 5 or more years of chemical/materials analysis Strong customer service, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational, research, and multitasking abilities. A valid driver's license. A professional appearance. Ability to perform multiple tasks Mathematical and communication skills (written and oral) Ability to identify problems and opportunities relating to Analytical services, Research and Development (R&D), and outside customers. Self-starting, detailed oriented person, able to interface with QA Technicians, R&D and Manufacturing Staff and outside Customers Must be able to prioritize
