2-2-3 Rotating Schedule (Work Every Other Weekend) Position Summary Our client is seeking a QC Chemist to support Quality Control laboratory operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for performing analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and project samples while ensuring compliance with established quality systems and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with HPLC and/or GC , additional wet chemistry techniques, and experience working in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, chemical manufacturing, or food & beverage. This role offers the opportunity to join a growing team with the potential for permanent employment after six months. Responsibilities Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and project samples following established SOPs. Operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation including HPLC, GC, and other analytical equipment. Perform wet chemistry testing including titrations, physical property testing, and other laboratory analyses. Complete daily calibration and routine maintenance of laboratory instrumentation. Review analytical data, processing records, and quality documentation for accuracy prior to release. Support production by performing in-process testing and communicating results in a timely manner. Investigate Out-of-Specification (OOS) results and assist with CAPA implementation and effectiveness monitoring. Assist with analytical method development, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain laboratory documentation and ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems. Update and maintain laboratory specifications and quality databases. Support regulatory and quality assurance requests as needed. Maintain compliance with GLP, c

GMP, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000/ISO

22002, GDP, and other applicable quality standards. Communicate effectively with production, quality, and technical teams to resolve analytical issues. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or another related scientific discipline. Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment (cGMP, GLP, GxP, ISO, or similar). Hands-on experience with HPLC or GC is required. Experience with additional wet chemistry techniques. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of Quality Control laboratory experience. Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical manufacturing, or food manufacturing industries (automotive experience will not be considered).
