As a Lead Scientist, you will drive testing for finished products, execute complex method development, and lead Out of Specification (OOS) investigations.
location:
Round Rock, Texas job type: Contract salary: $40 - 50 per hour work hours: 9 to 5 education: Bachelors responsibilities: Perform analytical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and custom analytical projects in accordance with SOPs.

Develop and execute investigational strategies for OOS events and author detailed technical reports.

Lead and participate in analytical method development, validations, and complex technical studies.

Execute instrument qualifications, maintenance, and troubleshooting for laboratory equipment.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain an audit-ready laboratory environment compliant with safety and quality policies.
qualifications:
Required:
BS/MS degree with 4+ years of related analytical chemistry experience, or a PhD in a relevant scientific field.

Proven expertise in analytical method development, validation, and complex data interpretation.

Strong technical writing skills with experience authoring SOPs, technical presentations, and OOS investigation reports.

Hands-on experience working under ISO standard guidelines (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, or
ISO 17034
).
Preferred:
Prior analytical testing experience in a regulated GLP, GMP, or ISO laboratory environment.

Working knowledge of medical device, pharmaceutical, or clinical quality systems. #LI-AM1 skills: Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality Control (QC)
