Provides support to the clinical research coordinator or clinical research nurse.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Provides general administrative assistance, including but not limited to organizational processes, materials management and data entry support. Maintains files, logs and other materials in an organized, efficient manner. Assists clinical research staff to assure all study requirements are documented and meet both internal and external regulations in accordance with protocol guidelines. Updates the Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS). Responsible for obtaining required signatures on clinical trial documents and returning within specified time frames. Candidate will receive additional supportive mentoring for skills development after initial orientation. Assignments will be determined by supervisor based on skills, training and competence levels. Assignments may broaden in complexity with experience requiring increasing self-directed activity. Responds to internal and external customer requests in a timely fashion. Assists with the coordination of sponsor visits. Performs data quality checks as needed. Performs other related duties as required and directed.

Required:
High school diploma
Preferred:
Six months experience with data entry. Office experience in a medical setting.
