BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The Environmental Project Coordinator is a key member of the national operations team who works closely with the sales and production teams to ensure that all environmental projects in their assigned area are staffed appropriately, and job files and documentation are tracked and organized. Playing the critical role in project documentation and workflow, the NEC's role supports four key functions: processing and submitting all permits, quality job documentation, ensuring all state training requirements are met, and total state compliance.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Environmental Project Coordinator owns the project file documentation from set-up to close. Working closely with Sales, the PM, and the field staff, they ensure a quality file product. Processes and submits permits. Tracks and coordinates asbestos certifications for environmental employees. Tracks and organizes job files, paperwork, and documentation. Complies with any other state requirements. Assists in preparing "Per Diem" request forms for Project Manager approval. Collects necessary back up to support billing. Holds weekly compliance meetings with all EN offices Develop Excel documents to track multiple required task.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
: This role has no direct reports.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS 5 -10
years of administrative experience, preferably in the environmental/construction. Positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills. Highly professional in all conduct and communication Ability to be highly organized and manage time efficiently. Team player - able to collaborate at all levels throughout the organization. Thinks outside of the box. Problem solving skills/resourcefulness. Self-motivated, able to work independently. Persistent when appropriate. MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook required.
EDUCATION
Associates Degree or equivalent experience preferred, High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
