Environmental Scientist/Geologist (Full Time)

Job Description

Job Summary Soiltech Environmental is currently seeking a motivated and growth-oriented full-time Environmental Scientist / Geologist with 3-5 years of office and field experience in environmental consulting. Preferred experience includes Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA) , Contamination Screening Evaluation Reports (CSER) , and Phase II / Level 2 ESA field work and report preparation. Experience with soil and groundwater sampling, environmental field investigations, and roadway or infrastructure projects is a plus. The successful candidate will support a variety of environmental projects and will have the opportunity to work directly with project managers, clients, contractors, developers, property owners, lenders, and regulatory agencies. Job Responsibilities And Qualifications Conduct and assist with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments in accordance with ASTM standards, including
ASTM E1527-21.
Perform Phase II / Level 2 ESA field activities, including soil and groundwater sampling and field documentation. Interpret field and laboratory data and support technical evaluations. Interact with clients, laboratories, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies. Assist with project scopes, cost estimates, proposals, and technical reports. Maintain accurate field notes, photographs, sampling records, and project documentation. Support business development and client relationship activities. Perform field and office work as needed, with flexibility for remote work when appropriate. The Ideal Candidate Would Have The Following Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field . Approximately 3-5 years of environmental consulting experience . Experience with Phase I and Phase II ESAs preferred. Hands-on experience with soil and groundwater sampling preferred. Knowledge of Florida environmental regulations, including Chapter 62-780, F.A.C. , is a plus. Strong technical writing, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Comfortable interacting professionally with clients and project stakeholders. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed. Travel will be required (estimated approximately 30-50%). What we can offer you compensation package: annual salary ranging from $55,000 to $85,000, commensurate with degree, accomplishments, performance, credentials and geography
