Job SummaryThe Compliance Analyst (Intermediate level) develops professional expertise while resolving an intermediate level variety of issues within a moderate scope. Receives general instructions on routine work, and detailed instruction on new assignments.



ResponsibilitiesAudits & CertificationsProvides developed site level logistical support for compliance audits (internal and external), within a moderate scopeExtracts list of open findings for site(s) in scopeMaintains and distributes certification assets to stakeholders internal and external to Equinix, within a moderate scopeCollects and coordinates developed audit evidence assetsPerforms an initial review of audit evidence assets and coordinates to ensure that non-compliance findings are closed in a timely manner Management SystemsUpdates any local site level management system assets by raising a document change request, as per input from site personnel and site compliance senior staffProvides developed site level logistical support for management review meetings, within a moderate scopeFollows all local procedures that are developed to comply with local legislative and Equinix requirementsMaintains a moderate level of required compliance records in local/global repositories including: records relevant to Operations compliance(QISBC and EHS)Manages document change requests for compliance related process assets while utilizing developed personal expertiseTracks moderate compliance process asset updatesTracks completion of management reviews at 1st line of defense level, within a moderate scopeProgram ManagementProduces developed compliance reports for local management, including: key performance indicators and metrics with assistance from senior team membersParticipates in moderate process improvement initiatives and compliance projects for the site/country in collaboration with regional and/or global stakeholdersAnswers moderate queries on compliance tools/systems and manages the tool as an administratorTrainingDevelops intermediate compliance training requirements to ensure requirements have been met and tracks completion, within a moderate scopeMaintains intermediate compliance information on competencies and certifications that are required for tasks and rolesCarries out intermediate training for Data Centers and Operations on internal tools and policies, as requiredLiaises with translation vendors for any policies/procedures, as required locallyTracks relevant mandatory compliance training1st Line ResponsibilitiesSupports in internal audit as a co-auditor within a moderate scopeAssists Data Center Managers in the implementation of intermediate site level compliance policies and processes as per global requirements2nd Line ResponsibilitiesFields intermediate communications from first line of defense: requests for assistance, questions, reports of non-compliance compiles and communicates responsesSupports intermediate level accidents and compliance investigations to ensure the comprehensive gathering of supporting evidence materialCompliance ImplementationFields moderate level communications from

Compiles and communicates responses with some direction from manager and senior teammatesSupports with intermediate level accidents and moderate compliance investigations to ensure the comprehensive gathering of supporting evidence materialEnsures the moderate level of new site expansions meet regulatory and Equinix requirementsSupports the implementation of standards and regulatory requirements within a moderate scopeInvestigates moderate non-compliance matters to determine the root cause, circumstances and contributing factorsSupports application of designated permits, compliance to existing permits, plans (e.g. Air, Spill Prevention, Chemical Reporting, etc.) within a moderate scopeSupports evaluation of work place changes, processes, equipment and substances for compliance to Equinix policies and recommends corrective action, within a moderate scopeQualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Compliance, Risk Management, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; compliance or internal auditor certifications are considered an asset.



Typically, 2-5 years of experience in Compliance, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, EHS, Audit Coordination, or a related operational compliance role within a regulated environment.



Working knowledge of compliance and management system frameworks such as

ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO

50001, regulatory compliance requirements, and document control processes are highly required.



Experience supporting internal and external audits, including audit preparation, evidence collection, corrective action tracking, compliance investigations, and root cause analysis.



Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience producing compliance metrics, KPI dashboards, management review materials, and maintaining compliance records in centralized systems.



Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint) and compliance, governance, audit, or document management systems.



The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:



Canada

Calgary :

66,000

•98,000 CAD / AnnualOur pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.



The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.



The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
