Job Summary Cardinal Group is looking for a hands-on Project Specialist to lead and manage a wide variety of field projects across our environmental, maintenance, industrial, and transportation divisions. This is a generalist leadership role for someone who can step onto virtually any job site, take ownership, and see the work through safely and on schedule — a true jack-of-all-trades who's ready to lead. Responsibilities Lead assigned projects from start to finish — managing schedule, materials, and budget Supervise on-site crews, subcontractors, and equipment Ensure OSHA, EPA, and other safety/regulatory standards are followed on every job Serve as the main point of contact for clients and site owners during active projects Adapt across a range of project types (environmental remediation, industrial cleaning, maintenance, facilities, transportation support, and more) Troubleshoot issues on the fly and make sound decisions in the field Keep accurate daily logs, progress reports, and close-out documentation Train and direct crew members on-site Travel to project sites as needed — primarily Northeast Ohio, with occasional multi-state travel Qualifications Experience leading crews or projects in construction, environmental services, industrial maintenance, or a related trade Ability to take ownership of a project with minimal supervision Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards; HAZWOPER, mold remediation, or similar certifications a plus Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent required; trade, technical, or military training a plus Join us as a Project Specialist if you're passionate about leading impactful projects that drive efficiency and innovation! Pay:
From $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
