Description:
Entry-level technical support performing field, sampling, and recordkeeping tasks under direct supervision across environmental media areas.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections (satellite accumulation areas, central accumulation areas, POL/tank areas) and record findings. Support hazardous waste labeling, accumulation, manifesting, and scheduled waste pickups. Perform field sampling (water, stormwater) and collect data for reports. Enter compliance data into government systems of record (e.g., waste/hazmat management and inventory systems). Assist with supply and PPE inventory, spill-kit stocking, and general field support.

Education Level:
High School or Bachelor's degree in environmental science, biology, chemistry, or a related field
Clearance Requirements:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a
NASA PIV
badge.
Certification Requirements:
40-hour
HAZWOPER
; hazardous waste (DOT/RCRA) awareness training.
Salary Range:
