Job Description:
NIGHT SHIFT
•Performs technical cleaning tasks like mopping and scrubbing floors using appropriate equipment and chemical dilution. Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary. Other duties as assigned. Manages carpet and hard surface floor care, including stripping, refinishing, bonnet cleaning, extraction, and polishing. Assists with set-ups and other project-related tasks as needed. Removes and transports soiled linens, trash, infectious waste, and recycling according to departmental policies. Maintains required records and information for all regulatory agencies. Performs terminal cleaning of procedural areas to maintain a sterile environment. Cleans and sanitizes walls, vents, ledges, and windows according to established procedures. Conducts checkout cleaning in patient rooms, including medical equipment, following departmental policies. Executes daily cleaning procedures in patient rooms to meet patient satisfaction standards. Carries out intensive cleaning in specialty areas such as Emergency Department, Surgery, Interventional Radiology, and Pharmacy to eliminate infection risks.
