Maple Creek Senior Living, Lakewood's premier affordable Assisted Living community, is seeking a FULL-TIME, Environmental Services Coordinator to contribute significantly to our culture and service . The individual selected will need to be reliable, customer service-minded, and take pride in making our residents smile through the delivery of quality care in our building.

Responsibilities may include:

Repairs and maintains the facility's physical plant and directs and coordinates the activities of the housekeeping and laundry department to maintain the facility in a sanitary and orderly condition. Develops, coordinates, supervises, and performs a variety of activities and services in the ongoing upkeep and maintenance of the physical plant and facility grounds. Responsible for oversight of EVS & Housekeeping/Laundry departments. Planning, scheduling, supervising, participating in, and inspecting the work of departmental employees and outside organizations in providing a clean, sanitary, safe, attractive, and well-maintained facility. Functionally responsible for the proper provision of all light, heat, and service facilities to all building and physical plant locations; functionally responsible for the proper provision and delivery of individual resident housekeeping and laundry services. Interprets policy and regulations to all ancillary staff and ensures compliance.

Qualifications and skills:

A high school diploma or G.E.D. and two years related experience and/or training is required; or an associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school and six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Possess a working knowledge of building maintenance and upkeep, along with the housekeeping and laundry functions required in a healthcare facility or similar setting Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and precautions as they apply to maintenance and housekeeping functions. Have a knowledge of state Boarding Home regulations pertaining to maintenance and housekeeping; infection control procedures; safety; and quality assurance. Possess appropriate communication skills to foster and maintain positive relations with residents, families, physicians, state officials, Company staff, and outside healthcare agencies. Must be able to work as part of a team, while teaching, monitoring, and motivating the performance of others Dependable, team-player, caring and able to foster atmosphere of dignity and respect Clean background check Requires a positive attitude and high energy level Requires strong communication skills Be detail oriented
