What You'll Do:

Responding as a member of the Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Team during chemical spills, fires, and other emergency incidents. Monitoring and maintaining landfill gas, leachate collection, groundwater, surface water, and air quality systems. Collecting environmental samples and interpreting monitoring data to ensure regulatory compliance. Operating and maintaining the Household Hazardous Waste Facility and educating the public on proper hazardous waste disposal. Performing environmental testing, troubleshooting system issues, and implementing corrective actions. Assisting with construction, maintenance, and repair of landfill gas, wastewater, and leachate collection systems. Working with contractors, engineers, and regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with environmental permits. Supporting spill prevention, hazardous waste management, and environmental protection programs. Operating heavy equipment, specialized monitoring instruments, and technical field equipment. What We're Looking For:

Associate's degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field. Minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience. Ability to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and meet insurability requirements. Comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather and environmental conditions. Strong communication, customer service, and mechanical aptitude. Ability to accomplish various tasks in a team-oriented setting.
