Job Title:
Environmental Monitoring Technician Job Description A Finished Product Pharmaceutical Facility is seeking dedicated Environmental Monitoring Technicians to support the cleaning and maintenance of cleanrooms. This role is vital in ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of our aseptic production areas. Responsibilities Perform routine sanitization of aseptic areas and conduct environmental monitoring. Maintain cleanliness and sterility of cleanroom environments and equipment. Participate in event response and deviation investigations as needed. Record and review data in batch production records (BPRs) using Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Provide input on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other controlled documents. Train peers in sanitization procedures and cross-functional systems. Follow all safety and environmental protocols in daily operations. Support process alignment across various departments including Aseptic Core Sanitization, Cartridge and Vial Filling Lines, Wash & Sterilization, and Formulation. Essential Skills Bioworks and manufacturing operations experience. Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) knowledge. Experience or strong interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Health Care background or previous manufacturing experience in a GMP environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous housekeeping or sanitization experience preferred. Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, food, medical devices, or cosmetics. Bioworks/Associates degree in Biotechnology demonstrates strong desire and initiative to learn more in the pharmaceutical field. Experience working in a manufacturing environment, particularly with 12-hour shifts. Work Environment This position operates on a night shift with a 2-2-3 schedule. Training will initially occur during the day before transitioning to the night shift. The role involves being on your feet for extended periods in a manufacturing environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.69 - $25.69/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
